Healthy Home Made Meatloaf
INGREDIENTS
• 700 grams Ground lean Beef
• 1 Large Onion
• 1 Carrot
• 1 Celery stick
• 1 tbs Yellow Mustard
• 2 tbs ketchup
• 1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
• 80 grams Bread Crumbs
• 1 Egg
• 3 boiled eggs (optional)
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 tsb Black Pepper
For the Glaze
• 2 tbs ketchup
• 1 tsp Honey
• 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
*Combine all ingredients and mix well.
DIRECTIONS
1. In a food processor add Onion, Carrot and Celery and blend to a fine paste.
2. Place the all the ingredients in large bowl. Mix with your hands until evenly combined.
3. Place the mixture in a bread loaf baking form (Add boiled eggs in the centre optional) and cook covered with silver foil for 40 minutes in a 180°C
4. Uncover and place the glace on top of the loaf and continue cooking for 10-15 more minutes
5. Let cool 10-15 minutes before slicing
