Steak Wrap
INGREDIENTS
For Steak
- 250 grams Ribeye steak or sirloin steak
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
For the wrap
- 1 wholegrain Tortilla
- 120 gr steak
- 150 gr Arugula
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Balsamic vinegar
- 70 gr Sun-dried tomatoes
- 30 gr Red onion, sliced
- 30 gr parmesan flakes
- Salt and Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
For the Steak
- Heat a grill pan on medium- high temperature
- Add a tbsp vegetable oil and spread a thin layer over the base of a pan
- Add steak and cook for 2 minutes then rotate it and let cook for another 2 minutes ( this will create cris crossing grill marks)
- Then flip the steak, cook for 2 minutes and rotate 90 degrees, cook for another 2 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice the steak against the grain to 1-centimeter slice.
For the Wrap
- In a mixing bowl add arugula, olive oil, salt, and pepper and toss until evenly coated
- Spread the arugula in the center of the tortilla, add sun-dried tomatoes, red onion, steak and parmesan flakes
- Fold the tortilla over the mixture and then push gently but firmly with your hand to form a roll.
- Hold in place with a wooden stick.
