Pork Loin with Cabbage and Apples

 

INGREDIENTS 

  • 4 pork lean pork loin 
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, unpeeled, cut ​in slices 
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil​
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

 

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Season the pork loin with salt and pepper, and brown on both sides in the skillet.
  2. Place the cabbage, apples, onion, and garlic on top of the chops, and sprinkle with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Cover the pan and cook 8 minutes.
  3. Uncover pan, place loins on top of the cabbage and apples and continue cooking 15 minutes, or until pork loins are done.
