Pork Loin with Cabbage and Apples
INGREDIENTS
- 4 pork lean pork loin
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 2 Granny Smith apples, unpeeled, cut in slices
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Season the pork loin with salt and pepper, and brown on both sides in the skillet.
- Place the cabbage, apples, onion, and garlic on top of the chops, and sprinkle with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Cover the pan and cook 8 minutes.
- Uncover pan, place loins on top of the cabbage and apples and continue cooking 15 minutes, or until pork loins are done.
